Got my flexibility back after many years!
Years ago I was flexible enough to get into a right side split. Those days are long gone. With these three videos I hope to achieve splits in all directions. So far, my seated open front stretch has improved. I can just about lay flat on the floor when bending from the waist. I've also gained about an inch in my right side split and anticipate great results.
Side Splits Intermediate Flexibility
Standard methods of mastering this split involve torture, PNF, Isometrics, etc. Yes, torture, since having people stand on you and push you down or pull your legs apart, while you cry out in pain can't be called a picnic. Other methods listed involve various muscles contractions combined with relaxation periods. The later work faster, but still involves pain and risk of injury. Zaichik Stretching Techniques do it the smart way and not the hard way. Stretching reflex is not wrestled with, but rather is avoided. So pain and injury don't stop the progress. Each muscle is isolated and get's manipulated through muscle space created, using various muscles actions against each other. Having tested various methods against each other. This is the safest, most pleasant and faster method known today
True Front Splits Intermediate
While some people consider an Open Front Split more challenging, majority of the people who do the Open variation, have difficulty with this one. Virtually all hip muscles are stretched, when the True Front Split is performed. The traditional method of working on this technique is to force the body down. In some schools the front leg is strained and then the rear leg. Our approach is different because we pick each joint action apart. (Hip Flexion through special techniques taking away the pain of stretch reflex, thus allowing much faster and safer progression. Click here for more information.
Open Front Splits Intermediate
Many people perform this split largely from the flexibility of their inner hamstrings on the lead leg. This allows the hips to get to the floor in a split, but places a lot of stress on the front leg, and on the lower back if one would try to sit up right. This often leads to injuries when the split is transferred over into skills. Zaichik Stretching Techniques allow a complete focus not only on each hip individually, but on each of the muscles separately. This makes sure that the flexibility is coming from all the structures. Each muscle does its job; instead of all the pressure being placed on already overstretches muscles. And just like all other EasyFlexibility Programs. The results come fast and safe.
Hamstrings Advanced
Advanced Hamstrings routine goes deep into the applications of the Zaichik Stretching Techniques. In addition to action vs action of the same muscles, muscle contractions are utilized. The goal of this routine is absolute posterior chain flexibility. This flexibility is measured by having absolutely no restriction in the hamstrings, and other synergists such as calf, lower adductors and glutes. Touching head to the toes with locked knee is a standard indication. Advanced Hamstrings program also develops full control and strength in the deep ranges of the hamstrings.
