1. DOWNWARD FACING DOG

A traditional yoga method of obtaining this pose can take a long time. The reason for this is because yoga poses usually focus on many muscle groups at the same time.

The approach of this program is very different from standard yoga approaches. Instead of using other Asanas to prepare, Zaichik Stretching Techniques are used to isolate each muscle being stretched which results in a pain free, fast, easy and safe stretching method.

This allows to avoid stretch reflex and quickly gain flexibility. When the muscles are lengthened, the pose is put back together and progressed very quickly to full Downward Facing Dog.

2. BACK BENDING - BEGINNER

Developing and maintaining good Back Flexibility is an important factor in many sports. It’s no wonder that people who can do this position well are known as having ‘cat-like’ grace. There’s something very impressive about being able to demonstrate such level of agility.

Of course, this kind of flexibility doesn’t come easy. So many people complain from insufferable back pains and joint discomfort when attempting a back stretch. But it doesn’t have to be this difficult.

3. HAMSTRINGS - DOUBLE FORWARD BEND

Testing the flexibility of both hamstrings at the same time has been known as the standard bench mark of flexibility for generations. In yoga this position is practiced standing, sitting, laying down, etc. Here is a list of some of them. Padangusthasana (Big Toe Pose), Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend), Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend)

The challenge here is obvious. Two legs have to be stretched at the same time, with all the muscles restricting the hip flexion, are now times two. Because of such a high resistance, trying to master double hamstsrings stretch incorrectly, will force the more flexible part of the body to give, and unfortunately that is the lower back. In other words, standard forced stretch method, brings a high level possibility of injured lower back.

Our approach is different from standard approaches. In the EasyFlexibility system we isolate each muscle, resulting in fast flexibility gains. Once muscles are isolated using the proprietary Zaichik Stretching Techniques and reciprocal inhibition, the stretch reflex is bypassed allowing for lengthening and strengthening of the muscles, quickly, pain free, safely and easily.

4. GLUTES & ILIOTIBIAL BAND

This program addresses all the muscles and actions connected to the gluteals.

The Iliotibial Band runs outside the upper leg, with both Gluteus Maximus and Tensor Fasciae Latae pulling on the band. ​There are 5 muscle groups located in the area. Their actions balance each other in Flexion/Extension, and Rotation. (Gluteus Minimus, Medius, Maximus, Deep Six External Rotators, and Tensor Fasciae Latae).

The overplay of glutes/abductors is so great with the Iliotibial Band that it is best to address them together.

This program is employed to ease iliotibial band syndromes and hip and piriformis syndromes. Many athletes who tried this program have felt quick relief of tension and pain.

5. HIP FLEXORS - BEGINNER

This program focuses on general anatomic hip extension flexibility

This means the movement of the hip in purely sagittal plane. No actions in coronal or transverse plane take place. Each of the hip flexors is addressed separately together with other muscle groups, which can restrict hip extension.

Not all hip flexors and their synergists need to be targeted the same way for every possible technique or sport. Some skills require rotation, horizontal abduction or horizontal adduction together with extension. This program targets all of them as a general hip flexors routine.

One of the large problem with mainstream stretching techniques is that, if you can't stretch, you don't know what is holding you back. In terms of the hip flexors, it can be:

  • Sartorius,
  • Rectus Femoris,
  • Tensor Fascia Latae,
  • Pectineus,
  • Psoas or Iliacus.
  • It can also be upper Adductors or even Gluteus Minimus. If one is tight, the rest will not move.
Zaichik Stretches allow you to get each one by itself and lengthen much faster, once you know where the problem is.

6. OVERHEAD SHOULDER FLEXIBILITY

Being able to stretch the shoulder abductors and extensors, as well as scapula inferior rotators allows the arm to come up to at least vertical line.

Since a downward arm movement is very powerful, many muscles work in various ranges. They all need to be stretched properly.

The majority of athletes try to get the overhead movement by pulling the arm overhead or worst behind the head, as hard as they can. This is rather painful and more often than not causes chronic inflammation in various tissues, including biceps tendon and supraespinatus tendon.
  • Our proven program isolates each muscle of the shoulder joint and of the shoulder girdle.

In this routine 4 primary directions are trained through the use of Zaichik Stretching techniques:
  • ​The flexion of the neck or movement of the head forward and down.
  • The extension of the cervical spine or bring the head back.
  • Lateral flexion of the neck or stretching the neck side way, by bring the ear to the shoulder.
  • Rotation of the neck or turning the head to either side.
